Fictional starting situation

You plan for a fictional household: where are the first-aid kit, emergency information and important contact details?

Learning overview · not real-time instructions

The three key points remain readable without motion. Physical techniques require practical instruction.

Make everyday life safer

Check trip hazards, hot liquids and storage of small objects or chemicals. Consider children, older people and people needing support. This is a calm assessment, not exertion or danger testing. Personal emergency information can be findable without being publicly posted online.

Key point: Recognise everyday risks and reduce them safely.

Find supplies before they are needed

Where is the first-aid kit, is it accessible and is anything missing? Check packaging and expiry dates; replace used or unusable supplies. Assemble a household medicine cabinet to suit the household with medical or pharmaceutical advice. Store medicines safely away from children. This course does not recommend individual medicines or doses.

Key point: Accessible, complete, usable.

Review and learn hands-on

Choose a topic to review, such as emergency calls, breathing or first aid for children. Supplement digital knowledge with a practical course and guided exercises on training manikins. A correctly answered case is learning progress, not proof of competence. Nobody has to try physical emergency manoeuvres at home.

Key point: Refresh regularly and practise techniques under guidance.
